Toyota developed an easy to use Dash Camera that records your driving experience as well as any incidents that may occur on the road.

In certain situations, the Toyota Dash Camera will provide feedback to the driver by emitting sounds and lights as part of its normal operation.

Some 2020 and newer Tacoma models offer a new feature called the Multi-Terrain Monitor.

Similar to the Bird's Eye View Camera offered on some Toyota models, the Multi-Terrain Monitor helps drivers identify objects surrounding their vehicle and builds on the Bird's Eye View Camera's capabilities.

When driving on highways, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control helps to reduce fatigue and provide drivers with increased comfort and peace of mind. Toyota currently offers two variations of the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control system.

Provides collision avoidance or collision mitigation support in speed ranges where frontal collisions are likely to occur. In certain conditions, the Pre-collision System with Pedestrian and Bicycle Detection may also help to detect pedestrians and help prevent or mitigate a collision.

In Toyota vehicles equipped with Driving Position Memory, the driver's preferred position of the driver’s seat, outside rear view mirrors and head-up display can be recorded and recalled by pressing a button on the door panel.

Select 2020 model year and newer Toyota vehicles come equipped with Remote Connect. Via the Toyota App, Remote Connect allows you to start and stop your engine, lock and unlock your doors and check the status of your doors and windows. You can also experience next level connectivity with Guest Driver Settings, Last Parked Location and Driver Score amongst other features. Select 2020 model year and newer Toyota vehicles equipped with Remote Connect and Service Connect are compatible with the Toyota App. The Toyota App offers an easy way to enroll in Connected Services by Toyota and manage the services that your vehicle comes equipped with. From remotely starting your engine, to locking your doors, from viewing your fuel level to accessing a vehicle health report, Toyota App helps you stay in touch with your vehicle, no matter where you are. To use these features, you must first enroll. If your vehicle is not equipped with an SOS button, enrollment is not required. Enrolling is simple and can be done using the Toyota App (if your vehicle is equipped with Remote Connect) or speaking to a helpful live Agent using the in-vehicle SOS button.
